2585418 - JSAgent logs error: jsj__RunSQLJob: jsd_MakeConnection() failed for user sapsa to server - SAP ASE for BS

Symptom

  • After sapsa password was changed successfully, JSAGENT logs show these errors:

    worker  ct_connect() failed.
    worker  jsj__RunSQLJob: jsd_MakeConnection() failed for user sapsa to server <SID>
    worker  jsj__RunSQLJob() failed for xid xxxxxx
    worker  Client message: ct_connect(): protocol specific layer: external error: The attempt to connect to the server failed.

  • Also in dabcockpit log of the collectors we can see error:

    Server message:

    Job execution failed. See job history and log file for details.

    Msg 4002, Level 14, State 1:

    Server 'XXX':
    Login failed.

    Client message:

    Message number : LAYER = (4) ORIGIN = (1) SEVERITY = (4) NUMBER = (44)
    Message String : ct_connect(): protocol specific layer: external error : The attempt to connect to the server failed.
    Job execution failed. See job history and log file for details.
