2586016 - HTTP response code: 407 (Proxy Authentication Required) thrown by com.sap.lcr.api.cimclient in the NWDS

It is not possible to import a Development Configuration Track into the SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio (NWDS).

The error message is:
"Could not get system landscape directory client"

In the .log of the NWDS the below entries can be seen:
