2586072 - Error Message: Tax Arrangement Is Inconsistent When Creating New Sales and Use Tax Return Run

You are creating a new Sales and Use Tax Return run, but when you save the run, the system throws the error message 'Tax Arrangement is Inconsistent'.

1. Go to Tax Management work center.
2. Go to Sales and Use Tax Return Run.
3. Click New > Tax Return.
4. Fill in the required data.
5. Save.
6. The Run is saved with errors.

The error message appears because the Sales and Use Tax Return Run is made for Tax Authority US. When the Tax Authority is US, there must be the state filled in the Tax Authority so it can populate the field in the Sales and Use Tax Return Run.

Fill the State in the Tax Authority Master Data e rerun the Sales and Use Tax Return run.

1. Go to Tax Management work center.
2. Access View Tax Authority.
3. Select the Tax Authority and Edit it.
4. Got to Addresses tab.
5. Fill the State field.
6. Save the changes.

After that, run the Sales and Use Tax Return Runs again. The error message won't appear this time.
