Cause

Missing hris-element basic configuration

Resolution

When configuring Employee Central, it is imperative that the following hris-elements are configured. Please refer to the table below for the hris-elements that currently must be included in the configuration.

There are several handbooks that should be used together to validate the element (and field) configurations. They are -:

Employee Central Master - EC Core implementation guide
Data Object Tables in Employee Central - List of all the valid EC Core fields configurations (and side-notes on field usage/behaviour)
Employee Central Country Specifics - All pre-delivered Country Specific configurations (important to follow - especially for jobInfo configuration as not all fields are used for all countries)

Important: Any element that is enabled must have at least one field enabled in that element. If you do not, App error's will occur in the hire wizards

If you are not implementing the Global Assignments feature or plan to do so later, please do not enable this hris-element (at least until you are ready to implement the feature in its entirety). Please refer to the Implementing and Configuring Global Assignments in Employee Central handbook for more information (and ensure that you complete all chapters including implementing the Picklists and Event Reasons)
pensionPayoutsInfo	Pension Payout Information	No	Only enable this hris-element if you are implementing the Employee Central Pension Payouts feature.
