Symptom
You have deleted objects, for example, leads, opportunities, activities, sales quotes, sales orders, and so on, and you are not able to restore them or view the data the object contained.
Environment
SAP Cloud for Customer
Reproducing the Issue
The user can check the deleted data:
-
Go to the Administrator work center.
- Go to General Settings view.
- Select Deleted Data under Data Management section.
- Under object filter by the related Business Object (leads, opportunities, activities, sales quotes, sales orders, and so on).
You will see all objects that have been deleted in the system.
Resolution
It is not possible to restore deleted data or view the data the object contained. This is an expected system behavior.
Note: The Restore button in the Data Management screen refers to the query you use to find the data. This button will set the query back to default - it does not restore the object.
