2587115 - Visibility of Pay Grade Field During New Hire

The pay-grade field appears in the compensation section of the add new employee section of the new hire wizard, although it has not been configured in the Succession Data Model(XML) or Manage Business Configuration(BCUI).

Employee Central

• People Profile (PP3)
• Add new employee
• Compensation
• Manage Business Configuration

Navigate to the add new employee wizard and the field Pay Grade is visible:

 

However this field is not configured in BCUI or XML:

 

This is caused by the pay-grade been removed from either BCUI or the XML, but the fields visibility is still set to 'view' or 'edit'.

To Resolve this add the pay-grade field in BCUI or the XML and set the visibility to none  if you wish to disable the field.

Once this change is made navigate to the add new employee wizard and notice that the pay grade field does not appear:
