2587580 - Text Field Clearing When OnChange Rule Raises a Message

The text field clears after you click out of the field if you have an OnChange rule that raises a message applied to that field.

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central - Payment Information

1. Create an always true raise message business rule
2. Apply the rule to a field of type text, Standard Input Field as configured in Manage Configuration UI
3. Enter data in the text filed and notice when you click out of it that any data inputted is cleared

• Raise mesage rule should not be applied to text field and should be applied to textarea field instead.
• These are known as Standard Input Field (Single Line) for text field and Large Input Field (Multi-Line) for textarea in Manage Config UI

• Change the field type to textarea in Manage Configuration UI and the raise message rule will not clear the field.
