2588070 - Base Price List ABC With Same Validity Already Exists

When creating a New Base Price List, the system throws the error 'Base Price List ABC with same Validity already exists'. (ABC represents the Base Price List ID)

SAP Hybris Cloud for Customer

1. Go to the Products work center.
2. Go to the Price List view.
3. Select the New button.
4. Then select Base Price List
5. Enter DEF in the Name field (DEF represents the Name of the Base List Price)
6. Enter a value in all Neccesary fields.
7. Go to the Items facet.
8. Add the required products for the Base product List.
9. Select the Save button.
10. Click on the Release button and choose Release.
11. Error message 'Action failed' and 'Base Price List ABC with same Validity already exists' is triggered.

This error message is raised because you have one or several Base Price Lists with overlapping validy dates that exists already. Cloud for Customer does not support two different Base Price List with the status Released within the same validity period. This is the expected system behaviour.

1. Go to the Products work center.
2. Go to the Price List view.
3. Select the Price list DEF (DEF represents the Base Price List ID)
4. Select the Edit button.
5. Change the Validity Date (i.e. the Valid From date for DEF should start just after the Valid To date of ABC).
6. Select the Save button.
7. Click on the Release button and choose Release.
