2588140 - Payroll Control Center: Configuring Object Definitions for SAP System Configuration

Symptom

In this document we will go through the process of configuring object definitions to ensure that their permission category is of SAP System Configuration.

Prerequisites:

  • The Payroll Control Center has been implemented on the Employee Central Payroll side. Customer system is upgraded to EA-HRRXX 608 SP44.

  • The "Enable Payroll Control Center" option has been selected in Provisioning.

Resolution

1. Go to Admin Center. In the Tools search field, enter Configure Object Definitions.

2. Enter the relevant information:

  • Search: Select Object Definition and select SAP System Configuration in the second dropdown menu.
  • Take Action: In the dropdown menu, select Make Correction (Edit).

3. Under Securities, make sure that Yes is selected in the Secured dropdown menu and SAP System Configuration in the Permission Category dropdown menu.

4. Click Save.

5. Enter the relevant information:

  • Search: Select Object Definition and select Payroll Control Center Configuration in the second dropdown menu.
  • Take Action: In the dropdown menu, select Make Correction (Edit).

6. Under Securities, make sure that Yes is selected in the Secured dropdown menu and Payroll Integration Permission in the Permission Category dropdown menu.

7. Click Save.

8. Enter the relevant information:

  • Search: Select Object Definition and select Payroll System Assignment in the second dropdown menu.
  • Take Action: In the dropdown menu, select Make Correction (Edit).

9. Under Securities, make sure that Yes is selected in the Secured dropdown menu and Payroll Integration Permission in the Permission Category dropdown menu.

10. Click Save.

11:  This procedure makes the permission setting for Payroll Control Center Configuration, Payroll System Assignment, and SAP System Configuration visible under Payroll Integration Permission and SAP System Configuration.
