2588387 - Empty / Blank Trend Data File

When exporting the Trend Information data file or template in Export Extended User Information, the file is empty/blank, with no row of data for users, or not even the header for the template file.

However, in People Profile or Ad Hoc Report, users have ratings populated for the trend elements (Performance, Potential, Objective, Competency, Custom1 and/or Custom2).

Exporting Trend Information Data File

1. Go to Admin Center > Export Extended User Information
2. Select Trend Information;
3. Expand the section Specify Additional File Export Options, and enable the option Include Form Data;
   NOTE: This option is only required if the Trend ratings are provided via Performance Forms only.
4. Export the data file;
5. File is empty. There is no row of data for users.

Exporting Trend Information Template

1. Go to Admin Center > Export Extended User Information
2. Select Trend Information;
3. Export Template;
4. File is blank. The header for the Trend elements is not provided.

This missing data issue may be caused by a misconfiguration of the Trend elements (sysOverallPerofrmance, sysOverallPotential, sysOverallObjective, sysOverallCompetency, sysOverallCustom1 and sysOverallCustom2 ) in the XML code of your instance.

Each Trend element has a specific feedback type that should be configured in the XML code. When using a different feedback-type or the same one for two or more elements, the system does not recognize the source of the rating and export empty/blank information in the file.

To correct this issue, it is necessary to correct the feedback-type for the Trend elements. To complete tasks in Provisioning, contact your Implementation Partner. If you are no longer working with an Implementation Partner, contact SAP Cloud Support, by opening an case with Succession Team (LOD-SF-SCM-SCR).
