2588428 - Scrap Deviation Code Missing in Scrapping

You have maintained Scrap Deviation Codes in the Business Configuration via Activity Scrap Deviation Code. However, the option does not appear for the Scrapping transaction.

SAP Business ByDesign.

1. Go to Internal Logistics work center.
2. Select Scrapping common task.
3. Fill all the relevant information.
4. Click Next.

Notice that in the Reason column, the options are Scrapping or Disruptive Sampling and the option you maintained in Business Configuration is missing.

It is not possible to add any additional Reason for Scrapping via Internal Logistics. Currently Scrap Deviation Codes are only available for Production Confirmations.

The system is working as designed in this case, as the Scrap Deviation Codes maintained in Business Configuration are only available for Production Confirmations.
