Symptom
- A new tenant has been created via "CREATE DATABASE <database_name> SYSTEM USER PASSWORD <SYSTEM_user_password>"
But starting the database now fails with an error like:
general error: Database could not be started;start databaseServer for database=X on : myserver:3<instance_number>40 failed
- A new tenant has been created via SAP HANA Cockpit. Before creating tenant, all services in SYSTEMDB were working fine, but after creating tenant Webdispatcher service is not running. DB status and messages in the namserver trace are shown as below:
SELECT * FROM M_DATABASES;
'Active' status of SYSTEM database ==> YES
'Active' status of Tenant database ==> NO
