2589106 - Backup ASE database to a Remote Location using mapped drive failed.

Symptom

  • Backup ASE database to mapped drive, the drive is mapped to another machine other than the server where ASE server is running.

dump database model to "x:\model.dmp" --"x:" is the drive letter of mapped drive.

  • Backup failed with error message:

The call to SetNamedSecurityInfo() failed with error 3 (The system cannot find the path specified) for file x:\model.dmp.
