2589493 - How to prevent employees from taking leaves after their termination date

An user has a future dated termination record. He is active in the system as of today, however, the system is allowing the user to request a leave post termination date.

1. Terminate an user with an effective date in future;
2. Request a leave effective after the termination;
3. Observe that the system successfully posted leave even though the date is post his termination.

It's highly advisable to implement the Termination End Handling process. This makes it possible to clean up an employee's Time-Off-related data that exists after the termination date. This process will perform the following actions:

1. Cancellation of approved absences that start after the termination date;
2. Delimitation of approved absences that overlap with the termination date. The end date of the absence is set to the termination date of the employee;
3. Deletion of time accounts starting after the termination date;
4. Delimitation of time accounts that overlap with the termination date. The validity end date and bookable end date are set to the termination date of the employee;
5. Closure of the time accounts.

Please note that the "Entitled as Transferred" Time Account Type cannot use this feature. A user with this time account type is excluded from the Termination End Handling process. In that case, you can raise the following Take Rule prevent the leave booking after the termination date. You can also implement this take rule even with Termination End Handling configured to avoid the leave booking after the termination date.
