2589594 - Quantity for Stock Transfer Order Still in Stock Overview

You have the product ABC which does not have Identified Stock in Planning Area YYY and it has Identified Stock in Planning Area XXX. You created a Stock Transfer Order for this Product from YYY to XXX. Although all the scenario is finished, now the incoming and outgoing quantity is still being shown in the Stock Overview.

ABC = Product ID

XXX = Planning Area ID

YYY = Planning Area ID

SAP Business ByDesign.

1. Go to Supply Planning work center.
2. Select Stock Overview common task.
3. Fill the Product ID ABC.
4. Click Go.

Notice that the incoming quantity in XXX and the outgoing quantity in YYY is still being shown.

In this case, the system will not take the quantity off from the Stock Overview automatically.

To solve the issue, you need to manually perform an Inventory Adjustment to clear the quantities from Stock Overview. You should follow the steps:

1. Go to Physical Inventory work center.
2. Select New Inventory Adjustment common task.
3. Search for the quantity related to the Stock Transfer Order.
4. Select Next.
5. Enter the Product Actual Quantity and the Identified Stock.
6. Select Next.
7. Click Finish.
