2589892 - Customer Demand Missing in Supply Planning

You have created a Sales Order NNN and ATP is red for line item XX of product ABC as the inventory is less.
When you look at the supply planning of product ABC, there is no customer demand entry for this sales order.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Outbound Logistics Control work center.
2. Go to Customer Demand View.
3. Show All Orders and find NNN.
4. Here you can see line item XX is with ATP Red.
Now click on Open Product Planning Details , here system does not display the sales order with line item XX which is having red ATP.

Business configuration settings are not correctly maintained in the system.

Under Business configuration: Scoping -> Supply chain planning and control -> Supply Planning -> Material Planning -> Questions for Material Planning ->
Group: Planning Date (2)
Currently selected question is:
Do you want to consider the confirmation date of the sales order during material planning?

Follow the below steps to resolve the issue-
1. Go to Business Configuration workcenter and Implementation Projects
2. Edit Project Scope and go to Supply chain planning and control -> Supply Planning -> Material Planning -> Questions for Material Planning ->
Group: Planning Date (2)
3. De-select the below question-
Do you want to consider the confirmation date of the sales order during material planning?
4. Select the below question-
Do you want to consider the requirement date of the sales order during material planning?

Sales Order, Customer Demand, Business Configuration, ATP , Requirement Date, Supply Planning, Material Planning , KBA , sales order , business configuration , requirement date , customer demand , atp , supply planning , material planning , AP-SDM-MSD , Material Supply and Demand View , Problem
