2589922 - Unable to create repository for SQLAnywhere using repoman tool - SAP Data Services 14.2

Symptom

When creating a new SAP Data Services repository for SQL Anywhere using Repository Manager utility (repoman) recieve the following error:

BODI-320006: Cannot open connection to the repository. The error message from the underlying DBMS is <ODBC call <SQLDriverConnect> to connect database <database_name> failed with error: <ODBC call <SQLDriverConnect> to connect database <database_name> failed with error:

<[Sybase][ODBC Driver][SQL Anywhere]Invalid user ID or password>. Use the ODBCDriverSelector (Windows) or DSConnectionManager.sh (UNIX) utility in LINK_DIR/bin to configure the correct version of the driver. If the problem still exists after selecting the correct version of the driver, notify Customer Support.>.
