2589979 - Different Permission for Background Block's Fields

Is it possible to have different permissions for specific fields of a Background block?

As per the current product design it is not possible to define view/edit permission by field for background elements.

Whether the user has "edit" permission to the background element, which will allow them edit all fields in the background block, and also allows them to remove records through the trash can icon, or they will be able to "view" the whole block's content.

Permissions for background elements are listed in 'Employee Data' within Manage Permission Roles.
