2589999 - Duplicate Check Does not Work on International Address of the Account Name


While checking the duplicates for an Account, the system does not recognize the International Address. For example, the system will not recognize an address maintained in Chinese or Japanese while checking the duplicates.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the Sales work center.
  2. Then go to the Leads View.
  3. Change the tab of Lead Duplicate Check to Account.
  4. Insert the name of the Company or Account in Chinese.
  5. System will not show any results, even though you have maintained an Account in Chinese with the same name.


The system will only trigger the duplicate check on Name and Address of the default script.


Currently, this is the expected system behavior.
