2590395 - How to Add Members to a Target Group Using Microsoft Excel

Symptom

You want to add Member to a Target Group using Microsft Excel.

Environment

SAP Hybris Cloud for Customer 1711/04

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the Marketing work center.
  2. Go to the Target Groups view.
  3. You do not find any option to create a target group using excel, so that all the members can be directly taken over to the target group from excel.

Cause

You need to download the Add-In for Microsoft Excel® to be able to achieve this requirement.

Resolution

  1. Select the Download (top right) button.
  2. Download the Add-In for Microsoft Excel®.
  3. Go to the Marketing work center.
  4. Go to the Target Group Facet.
  5. Select the Actions gear and choose New From Microsoft Excel.
  6. Download the excel and fill-up the required details including Members.
  7. Go to the SAP Cloud for Customer tab,
  8. Select the Logon button, connect using the system URL (user and password) and select the Save button.
