2590443 - Admin is unable to attach documents to SF-182 or External Request forms

Customers are not able to add attachments for External events via learning event editor in SAP Successfactors Learning Management System

SAP SuccessFactors Learning - All Supported Versions

1. Select Users > Tools > Learning Event Editor
2. Select external event of any user and and click on edit
3. You will get message "This record can only be edited from the User's External Requests tab" as shown below.
   
   

External events which cannot be added with attachments are SF-182/External Request forms verified by the admim. As per design admins cannot add attachments to the SF-182/External Request form.

Kindly note SF-182/External Request forms and normal External event recorded via Record Learning Multiple tool, both will be considered as External events as per the Learning Event Editor tool.

SF-182/External Request form is a government reporting form and as per the design LMS won't allow admins to add any attachments to the form.

Admins can add attachments to the normal External events which are recorded by admins using record learning multiple tool as shown below.

Note : No attachment can be added in User's External Requests tab. An admin can only edit External request form via User's External Requests tab .
