2590835 - RBP - How to Configure Import for Employment Related Entities

Is there a way you can restrict what "entities" a user has the ability to import?

For example - Our HRIS team currently import pay recurring and non recurring pay components, But we would like to give our payroll team the ability to do this.  They should not however have the ability to upload any other type of entity.   Can this be restricted?

How do you import employment related entities like Job information and Compensation information based on the target population defined for an employee performing the imports?

A- Enable RBP Access Validation for EC Elements during
1. Navigate to Admin Center.
2. In the Tools search field, type Manage Permission Roles. The Permission Role List page appears.
3. Click the permission role you’d like to enable permission. The Permission Role Details page appears.
4. Click the Permission button. This brings up the Permission settings page.
5. In the Administrators Permissions section, click Manage User.
6. Select Enable RBP Access Validation for EC Elements during Imports (Do not enable during first time import).
7. Click Done.
8. To save your changes, click Save Changes.

B- Set Permissions

1. Navigate to the Admin Center.
2. In the Tools search field, type Manage Permission Roles. The Permission Role List page appears.
3. Click the permission role you’d like to provide access. This will bring up the Permission Role Details page.
4. In the User Permissions section, click Employee Central Import Entities. On the right-pane, select the import
entities you’d like to grant access.
5. Click Done.
6. To save your changes, click Save Changes.

C- You can also enable rules during import.
