2590926 - How to Configure Custom Help Text

You wish to configure custom help text to provide further information on a field see below example:

• Employee Central - Position Management
• Employee Central - Metadata Framework

In this example we will use the position object, however this is available for all objects.

To create this you will need to follow the below steps:

1. Navigate to Configure Object Definitions -> Position

2. Scroll down to any field and select details

3. Naviagate to the Help Text field.

4. Maintain the information here, when you have entered the information select done and save.

5. Navigate to Manage Postions and notice the Custom Help icon with the information you have added.
