2591705 - Changing the java heap size limits from the SMP 3 admin console does not take effect

Symptom

  • SMP admin console increased the min and max heap limit of the JVM settings.
  • After a restart of SMP the changes are reflected in the admin console as well as the props.ini file and the repository database.
  • However using the java utilities jconsole and jvmmon-gui the JVM still shows the original values.
