Symptom

  • Customer installing MFC 15.0 SP6.
  • Mainframe Connect Installer shows the following error "Could not make remote directory" listed below 

    MFCINstaller.png
  • The installer FTP log shows:

    site recfm=fb dir=3 lrecl=80 blksize=3120 blocks pri=10 sec=1
    200 SITE command was accepted
    MKD '######.SP06.INSTALL.JCL'
    521 "######.SP06.INSTALL.JCL" data set already exists
