Symptom

  • When getSchema() and setSchema() are used with the SDK for SAP ASE JDBC driver, an exception occurs.
  • Error:
    • Exception in thread "main" java.lang.AbstractMethodError: com.sybase.jdbc4.jdbc.SybConnection.setSchema(Ljava/lang/String;)V
          at TestJdbcDriver.test_sapConnectionIsJDBC41_Exception(TestJdbcDriver.java:46)
