2592103 - ASE Cockpit fails if the 'net password encryption reqd' option is enabled on the server - SAP ASE

Symptom

  • The Workload Analyzer connection to the Workload Analyzer repository server from ASE Cockpit fails if the 'net password encryption reqd' option is enabled on the server.
  • An error dialog is generated with the following message:

JDBC error when connect to server mo-2075dbdac.mo.sap.corp:3949. com.sybase.aseaccess.exception.AALSQLException: java.sql.SQLException: JZ00L: Login failed.
Examine the SQLWarnings chained to this exception for the reason(s).(ASECatRepoSvrASEController.java: Line 157)
