Symptom
- When an unlicensed feature is used, IQ auto shuts down at the end of the grace period.
- This is documented in sp_iqlmconfig procedure and SYSAM user's guide section 2.1.3.
- However, IQMSG prints a misleading warning, stating that the feature license will be "disabled".
- You could wrongly think that IQ will disable the feature and remain up and running, while IQ will shut down itself.
The request is to have an explicit message printed in IQMSG that states:
"IQ will be shutdown at the end of the grace period if no suitable license is obtained before that date."
