2592859 - LegallyRequiredPhrase in Form Template XML is not Showing in the Communication Language Maintained in the Account Master Data

Symptom

Form template showing LegallyRequiredPhrase in English, but you expect a different language PQR. (PQR represents the Communication Language Maintained in the Account Master Data)

Environment

SAP Business ByDesign

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Customer Invoicing work center.
  2. Go to Invoice Documents view.
  3. Edit Invoice XYZ and click on View All. (XYZ represents the Invoice ID)
  4. Select the Output Document and Click on View Data XML. 

The Legally Required Text ABC showig in the tag <LegallyRequiredPhrase> is in English. (ABC represents the Legally Required Text maintained for the Tax Exemption Reason)

Cause

The Target Language is missing in Standard Phrases for Legal Text Information.

Resolution

  1. Go to Business Configuration work center.
  2. Go to Implementation Projects view.
  3. Select the Project and click on Open Activity List.
  4. Search for Tax on Goods and Services Activity.
  5. Click on Define standard phrases for legal text information.
  6. Select the country mainatained as Tax Country in the Invoice.
  7. Select the tab which is having the Legally Required Text ABC and Click on Translate Button.
  8. Select the Source Language as English and Target Language as the Communication Language Maintained in the Account.
  9. Select the Tax Country Code and click on Expand Subtree.
  10. Select the relevant Tax Exemption Reason Documentation.
  11. Maintian the Target Language  and click on OK.
  12. Click on Save.
