2592989 - Unable to Set the Default Query in New Removal Screen and New Replenishment Screen

Symptom

The default query does not change in the New Removal and New Replenishment screens after saving and setting a query as default.

Environment

SAP Business ByDesign

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Internal Logistics work center.
  2. Choose New Removal under Common Tasks.
  3. Choose Advance Filter.
  4. Select a storage location.
  5. Choose Save Query.
  6. Select the Set as Default option.
  7. Choose Go.
  8. Close the window.
  9. Choose New Removal under Common Tasks.
  10. The default query remains unchanged.

Cause

  • The New Removal screen and New Replenishment screen share a single UI component.
  • Any query saved in one screen is also visible in the other screen.
  • The shared design means the same default query applies to both screens automatically.
  • Setting different default queries for the New Removal and New Replenishment screens is not possible due to the shared UI design.

Resolution

This is expected system behavior.
