2593343 - Negative Stock in Product Planning Details

You notice for a Product ABC (ABC represents the Product ID) in Product Planning Details the available stock is indicated as (for example) -0.005. However, a negative stock is not allowed in the Product Master Data. You have maintained a Quantity Conversion from a custom Unit of Measure to a standard one.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Work Center Supply Planning
2. Open the view Products
3. Show All Products By Selection
4. Find the Product ABC (ABC represents the Product ID)
5. Result: you will note that ABC has an Available Stock of -0.005
   
   

• This issue could occur rarely due to calculations involved in planning inventory and physical inventory. 
• Sometimes, when finishing an Outbound Delivery, Inbound Delivery, or Warehouse Order, the quantity is updated in only one of these documents, resulting in a data inconsistency.
  
  

1. Go to the Work Center Application and User Management 
2. View the Business Data Consistency and open Subview Data Flow Verification Results 
3. Show All Results 
4. Choose Open Advanced Filter 
5. For Business Document 1, select Inventory
6. For Business Document 2, select Planning View of Inventory
7. Choose Go
8. Select the latest not closed result which contains errors
9. Perform Start Document Synchronization
10. Perform Start Repeat Check
11. If the number of errors becomes zero, click Change Status to Closed. If errors persist, report an incident to SAP
