2593390 - Reactivate Set of Books Company Assignment Not Possible

You deactivated the assignment of company XYZ (XYZ represents the company ID) to Set of Books ABC (ABC represents the Set of Books ID). This modification is not reversable in the frontend.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. In the Business Configuration workcenter access the Set of Books activity, either via the Integrate and Extend tab in the activity list of the current Implementation project or via the Business Configuration Overview.
2. Select Set of Books ABC and press Edit.
3. In the new screen go to the Company Settings tab.
4. In the List of Companies select company XYZ.

You notice that the Deactivate button is greyed out. This indicates that the company assignment has been deactivated.

Currently and until further notice it is not possible to reactivate the company- set of books assignment in this activity.

Under no circumstances will it be possible to reactivate an inactive set of books.

The only possibilities here are to either roll back the system to a restore point when the now inactive set of books was still active, or to set up a completely new company and migrate/transfer all existing data over to this company.
