2593439 - Data Retention Time Management feature - Message - "Master data should not be purged when module data is being purged"

Symptom

Attempting to run a purge request that contains master data. Download the preview report and you will see the message "Master data should not be purged when module data is being purged" appear under the SKIPPED REASON column.

Resolution

As of the Q4 2017 release, data retention time management (DRTM) cannot be used to configure retention times or create purge requests for "master data". Master data is basic user information like name, ID, and job title that define users in the system and their active or inactive employment status. At this time, you can only test DRTM purge functionality for module data, not master data. No DRTM purge request for inactive users is available at this time.
