2595455 - A-OLAP error when creating or opening an existing workspace when the "SAP Authentication" - "Entitlement Systems" user's password contains a '%' sign

Symptom

  • A BI system is set up with at least one "Logical system name" in "SAP Authentication" - "Entitlement Systems".
  • The password of at least one of the the authentication users for one of the "Logical system names" has a '%' sign it it.
  • An A-OLAP workspace is created based on an OLAP connection that is connecting to a BW system.
  • When a new A-OLAP workspace is attempted to be created based on the BW OLAP connection, then an error is shown as follows:
    • If the OLAP connection uses pre-defined credentials, then the error "Failed to browse connections using resource [{0}]: a RuntimeException occurred : java.lang.IllegalArgumentException" is shown.
    • If the OLAP connection uses SSO, then the error "Logon failed. Invalid user name or password." is shown.
