Environment
SAP SuccessFactors Goal Management
Reproducing the Issue
-
In SuccessFactors Upgrade Center, navigate to Optional Upgrades;
- Select either DRTM Objective Management or DRTM Development Objective Management;
- Upgrade Now or Retry Upgrade Now.
A dialog window opens with an error message:
Cause
The DRTM Goal Management and/or DRTM Development Management RBP is missing.
Resolution
DRTM Goal Management Upgrade:
- Go to Manage Permission Roles
-
Select Permission Role (Admin type role)
-
Permission Settings > User Permissions
- Data Retention Management
- Select the DRTM Goal Management Permissions and save the role:
6. Navigate to Upgrade Center and retry the upgrade.
Note: If the upgrade is still not successful after enabling the above RBP, contact your Implementation Partner to run the MDF Object Definition to DB SYNC job in Provisioning. Customers has the possibility to directly run this job from the Admin Center, however the prerequisite is that it was previously created at least once from Provisioning. For more information, please check the KB Article 2534674.
DRTM Development Goal Purge Upgrade:
The following workaround can be applied.
- In Upgrade Center, upgrade the Mentoring feature first.
- After upgrading the Mentoring feature, the DRTM Development Objective Purge will upgrade successfully.
As long as you do not give any users "Mentoring Program Access" permissions or "Mentoring Admin" permissions, no users will see the Mentoring feature.
