Symptom
When in SAP Cloud Platform Integration for Data Services web application you create an Oracle datastore and select "Test connection" you receive the following error:
- When using a Linux agent machine the following error is shown:
Test failed for the default configuration '<configuration name>' of datastore: '<datastore name>':
Oracle shared library <libclntsh.so> not found. Please make sure it is installed and can be located using the library search path (LIBPATH on AIX, LD_LIBRARY_PATH on Solaris/Linux, SHLIB_PATH on HP-UX). Please check the file permissions for <libclntsh.so>.
- When using a Microsoft Windows agent machine the following error is shown:
Test failed for the default configuration '<configuration name>' of datastore: '<datastore name>':
Cannot find NT Oracle Server DLL <OCI.DLL>. Please make sure that Oracle has been installed and the PATH variable points to the correct lib directories.
