2595933 - Show Master Data Value is Not Working Properly

You have created/edited a report via Report Wizard and you defined a characteristic to Show Master Data Value, however, this setting is not being applied to the characteristics which are part of this one.

SAP Hybris Cloud for Business

1. Let's use the characteristic Created On as example:
2. Go to Business Analytics work center and Design Reports view.
3. Show All and Find XYZ report.
4. Go to Characteristics Properties step.
5. Find the characteristic Created On and check the checkbox for Show Master Data Value.
6. Finish.
7. Run the report.
8. Click on Add Fields button.
9. Expand Created On dimension.
10. Select Month (Created On) to Display in the Report.
11. Click on Ok button.
12. See that the characteristic is not showing the master data value.

The settings applied to the key field (in this case "Created On") will not be transferred to their child fields (such as Month (Created On), hence it will not show the master data value to the characteristics which are based on the first one.

This is the system designed behavior.
