2596107 - Cannot create Instructor with same ID even if Instructor was deleted

When trying to create a new instructor the administrator receives the below error:

"Validation Error

You must correct the following error(s) before proceeding: The instructor ID you have entered was previously used. Please enter a new unique ID."

SAP SuccessFactors Learning

1. Go to Learning >
2. Instructor >
3. Choose Add New >
4. Fill in the mandatory information like Instructor ID >
5. Click Add >
6. The error will be presented.

There was already an instructor created with this ID, however it was deleted.

There is no way to create a new instructor with the same ID as a previous one. Kindly create an instructor with a new ID. To possibly avoid this issue in the future:

1. Go through all administrator's roles and identify which administrators should be able to delete instructors >
2. Navigate to System Administration >
3. Security >
4. Role Management & edit the roles identified in Step 1 >
5. Remove the Delete Instructor permission >
6. Save changes.
