2596276 - Time off Calendar scheduled jobs are delayed than scheduled time

Part of year end activity we scheduled the jobs to run the Time off calendar to run the Job automatically on January 1st. We realized that  on January 1st System did not run the job but January 2nd System generated the Job and accrual got generated. We would like to know the reason why there is a delay in 1 day?
