2597104 - SQL statement fails with error NOT NULL foreign key not supported - SAP IQ

Symptom

  • executing DDL generated by iqunload -n utility results in 'NOT NULL foreign key not supported' error message.
    Could not execute statement.
    NOT NULL foreign key not supported.
    SQLCODE=-1000163, ODBC 3 State="HY000"

     

  • executing ALTER or CREATE table SQL statements containing clause "ADD NOT NULL FOREIGN KEY" results in the same error as above.
