2597284 - User cannot request a class for course in the library

A user is trying to request a class for a course found in the library, however the option is not available ("Request a Class"). The only available option is to assign.

3. Some courses have the option to request a class, however other courses only have the option to be assigned.

The "Request a Class" option will only be visible for classes (instructor-led courses). If the course is not only a class, then this option would not be available. For example: When the course is online, blended or other, the "Request a Class" option will not be available.
