2597498 - Product is Not Copied from Opportunity to Contract

When you create a Contract from an opportunity(vice-versa), the Product details (under Item facet) are not copied.

SAP Hybris Cloud for Customer

1. Go to Sales work center.
2. Go to Opportunities work center view.
3. Open any opportuniy.
4. Go to Contract facet.
5. Click on New button to create a follow-up contract.
6. Open the Contract and go to Items facet. You find that the Product information (called Items in Contract) is not copied from the original opportuniy.

This function to copy items from an opportunity to a contract and vice -versa, contract to opportunity is not supported.

As there are different business scenarios, and not for all of them such a copy is desired.
