2597707 - How to disable or hide Directory tab under Company Info (Org Chart)

• As a SuccessFactors administrator you would like to hide/remove the Directory tab from Company Info / Org chart.

• As a SuccessFactors user you would like to hide/remove "Search for people and actions" from the overall system.

Please note - you are disabling the User Directory by continuing with this

You will need the permission for "Platform Feature Settings" page in order to disable this feature

• Manage user permissions > Select role you want to have the permission for
• Manage System Properties
• Select Platform Feature Settings

To disable the User Directory

• Go to Admin Center > Tools > Search for "Platform Feature Settings"
• Disable "User Directory"
• Save and log out and back in
  • 

You will no longer have the Directory tab under Company Info / Org Chart - or any other area of SuccessFactors. You will also no longer be able to search for users; the User directory is disabled.

**Note "Search for actions or people" under the global search bar is no longer available either.
