2598241 - Time Collector Values not Recalculated During Termination

We have configured termination rule to calculate termination accruals based on time collector values generated from the time sheet entries of negative users. When a back-dated termination event is being done, accrual balance is incorrect as the value being pulled from the time collectors is not updated during termination. Is there a way to automatically remove the generated time sheet entries to update the time collectors once a termination date is entered?

Time collector values do not get directly recalculated when termination process is initiated

Scenario is currently not supported with standard system functionalities/features and may require product enhancement. For guidance and more information on submitting enhancement requests, refer to KBA 2090228.

In the interim, if backdated termination event is to be added and it is needed to have the collector values updated, time sheet outside the termination date has to be manually handled. The following steps may be undertaken:

1. Delete all Time Sheets, Allowances and Time Valuation Results which are after the termination date from the Time Sheet which falls outside the termination date. If all entries are generated, the entire time sheet can be deleted through Admin Center > Manage Data.

2. Make a job information change on the day after the termination effective date (e.g. termination date is on 01/25, then make job information change on 01/26) and remove the Time Recording Profile. This will create a recalculation event on that day, but will not affect time sheets or collector values as there is no longer a time recording profile assigned for the user.

3. Move the recalculation event or create a new recalculation event (if recalculation event is already processed) for the day of termination and set Start Job on Save. This will update the time collector values. Termination can now be done and the updated collector values should now be retrieved by the rule.
