2599585 - CPI: HTTP response '404: Not found' when communicating between CPI and backend system

Symptom

You are using CPI as middleware to send message to backend system e.g. S/4 Hana HR, CRM and etc. You may use the standard web services provided SAP. In CPI Message Processing Log, you find the following error:

Could not send Message., cause: org.apache.cxf.transport.http.HTTPException: HTTP response '404: Not found' when communicating with http://<host>:<port>
