2600043 - Error "Local Object 00000000000000000000000XXXYYYBUR001-1 Does Not Exist" during Business Partner Replication

Symptom

Web service messages of type BusinessPartnerERPReplicationIn fail to execute with the following error: 'Local object 00000000000000000000000XXXBUR001-1 does not exist' (where XXX is a string of alphanumeric characters).

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Send a business partner from an on premise system to C4C;
  2. Go to in web service message monitoring, you see the message via BusinessPartnerERPReplicationIn fail to execute with the following error: 'Local object 00000000000000000000000XXXBUR001-1 does not exist' (where XXX is a string of alphanumeric characters);
  3. You notice that the business partner with a contact person which has not been previously replicated.

Cause

A contact person contained within the payload has not yet been replicated to C4C.
C4C cannot create a reference to a yet-to-be created individual and consequently fails.

Resolution

  1. Make a list of the external IDs of contact persons contained within the failed payload.
  2. Check whether these exist in C4C by searching by external ID in 'Contact Person' view of the 'Customers' work center.
  3. If a contact person does not exist in C4C, replicate them to C4C.
  4. Repeat the process until all contact persons contained within the failed payload have been successfully replicated to C4C.
  5. Restart the failed message.
