• What are the two new checkboxes ('Receive new job posting notifications' and 'Hear more about career opportunities') which now appear on the RCM account creation page?
• Why do they appear on this page now?

What are the checkboxes:

They refer to the normal job alerts and campaign emails which previously existed in RMK and corresponds to ‘emailEnabled’ and ‘campaignEmailEnabled’ respectively on Recruiting Marketing. The selections for these two options are passed to Recruiting Marketing to create and manage the Talent Community record.

Why were they added to the page:

For compliance regulations reasons, these checkboxes are now present on the account creation screen.

Available configurations:

• It is possible to control if the checkboxes are ticked or unticked by default via Admin Center > Manage Recruiting Settings > Section "General Data Privacy Settings.
  
  
• Receive new job posting notifications -- Enable selection of the "Job Alerts" checkbox by default at account creation (Candidate Account Simplification scenario)
• Hear more about career opportunities -- Enable selection of the "Marketing Emails" checkbox by default at account creation
  
  
• It is possible to remove the 'Hear more about career opportunities' checkbox from the page by deselecting "Show the "Consent to Marketing Emails" checkbox on account creation and on the candidate profile".
• It is not currently possible to remove the "Receive new job posting notifications" checkbox.

Managing the 'Receive new job posting notifications' option:

• Candidates can opt in and opt out of the job alerts in the following ways:
  
  
• Navigate to Career site > Options > Job Alerts.
• Navigate to RMK Email Subscription Management page by clicking the "Unsubscribe" link in the email received.
  
  
• It is not possible to change the option on behalf of the Candidate.

Managing the 'Hear more about career opportunities' option:

• Candidates can opt in and opt out of the campaign emails in the following ways:
  
  
• Navigate to Career Site > Candidate Profile > 'Search Options and Privacy' section.
• Navigate to RMK Email Subscription Management page by clicking the "Unsubscribe" link in the email received.
  
  
• It is possible to update the option on behalf of the candidate using Integration Center. Refer to the KBA 3082108.
• This flag is stored in the database. It is also possible to search for candidates who have a value or no value at all in this field. This can be done by using the "Marketing Emails Consent" filter on Recruiting > Candidates page.
