Symptom
- While running a backup through Commvault
- In the Windows Event Viewer, errors below are reported
- And the backup may fail
- No errors are reported in the Backup Server log or the ASE error log
- Connecting through isql, a backup to disk works without any error.

Error 12/8/2017 1:15:38 PM Application Error 1005 (100) "Windows cannot access the file for one of the following reasons: there is a problem with the network connection, the disk that the file is stored on, or the storage drivers installed on this computer; or the disk is missing. Windows closed the program sqlsrvr.exe because of this error.
