2601264 - Performance issues in Web Intelligence after upgrading to BI 4.2 SP 3 Patch 11

Symptom

  • After upgrading from BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 3.1 to BI 4.2 SP 3 Patch 11 many performance issues are observed:
    • Displaying the list of universes takes around 5 minutes.
    • Opening any existing reports are more than 2 minutes.
    • Displaying the list of connections when a new FHSQL report is created takes a lot of time.
