Symptom
This KBA covers how to clean up the Report Jobs tab in the LMS
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors Learning Management System (LMS)
Reproducing the Issue
- Go to Learning Administraiton
- Navigate to Reports
- Click on "Report Jobs" tab
- There may be many outdated entries that need to be removed
Resolution
There are 2 ways to clean up these entries:
Manual Deletion:
One-time background report jobs:
- Go to Learning Administraiton
- Navigate to Reports
- Click on "Report Jobs" tab
- Click "Delete" next to the Report Job Result entry
Recurring report scheduled jobs
- Go to Learning Administraiton
- Navigate to Reports
- Click on "Report Jobs" tab
- Click "Edit Schedule"
- Click "View Results" tab
- Click "Delete" next to the job result entry you wish to remove
Automated Deletion:
Using the Purge Past Background Job Results Automatic Process (APM)
IMPORTANT NOTE: This will remove the result entries for ALL background jobs older than the threshold specified
- Go to Learning Administraiton > System Administration > Automatic Processes
- Click "Purge Past Background Job Results"
Notes:
- Since this does delete all background job entries, check System Administration > Background Jobs to get an idea of what those entries are that would be removed by this process
- This clean up does not delete recurring schedules or stop anything scheduled to run in the future
- It is essentially removing "log" entries for job results
